Since forming in 2019, Absolute Losers have earned a reputation for their air-tight live shows that deliver one burst of energy after the next. In August of 2023, they released their debut album, “At The Mall,” a danceable 12-track offering that confronts hardships without taking itself too seriously. On their debut, the band camouflages pop sensibilities with wiry guitar work, intertwining bass and drum parts, and hook-laden, nonchalant vocals. In their latest efforts, Absolute Losers shed the camouflage and proudly bear their knack for catchy melodies, soaring harmonies, and straight-to-point pop songwriting.

Shaped by the aesthetic sensibilities of vintage UK/New Zealand indie pop, Montreal’s Prism Shores blend the genre’s jangling guitars and deliberate melodies with traces of shoegaze, dream pop, and post-punk, refracting their influences through a lens distinctly their own. Their sophomore album is due out in January 2025.

Born out of postcards and long distance phone calls between friends, Townie's trio of songwriters collaborates with a prolific group of musicians across the country, featuring three insightful and unique voices, they draw influence from folk revival with a DIY ethos.

Since 2008, Owen Steel has written and released various folk / garage sounds under his own name, as well as with such acts as The Belle Comedians, Mike Trask, Dana Sipos, and Motherhood. He has toured from Newfoundland to the Yukon, Texas to Sweden and points in between, appearing at folk festivals, freak festivals, basement bars, soft seaters, pizza joints and more; By thumb, boat, band van and train, Steel has made his way under the radar and into the ears of a small but mighty group of listeners.
